To be successful you have to release the need for approval. If you are constantly seeking approval you will not be able to follow your dreams or purpose. You will always be limited by the worry of what people are thinking of you.
Seeking approval becomes addicting. We are never satisfied with the momentary applause, we are always seeking more. We begin to compare ourselves with others and compete for the dangling carrot of approval. The corporate world flourishes with this style of behavior, yet it destroys the people living it.
Respect the opinion of others, but don’t believe their opinions are facts for you. Know that you are the leader of your own life. Own it.
